She found a place on the farm as quickly as she found her place in our hearts. She came just in time to help with Nutmeg's litter, playing surrogate mother to her pups. She walked them out to the barn every morning and then walked them back in every evening. She had some great expressions when the puppies tried to nurse on her.
She has proven herself to be a true asset around the house. She knows her job here, whether we told her to do it or not. She has helped round up the cows and chickens, chase down a ground hog and alert us of any potential threat.
